Sweetheart Gown / Wedding Dress

This pattern is named for the heart shaped neckline. The body of the garment is fitted to the knee and from there flares out to the hem. The skirt elongates into a train. The gown uses a hidden zipper closure. To use these patterns for a gown or a wedding dress, select the appropriate fabrics. The decoration and trim may also be varied to achieve different looks.

Instructions are included for the veil for the wedding dress to make a single or double tier veil in one of the seven lengths. The illustration above is for the Chapel length. Instructions are also included for cutting synthetic fabric with a hot knife.
